Dr. J. Charles Culbreath received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina School Dr. J. Charles Culbreathof Dentistry, and his Bachelor's degree from Florida State University. Dr. Culbreath was a dentist in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1964. He has been in private practice in Winston-Salem since 1964.

Dr. Culbreath has a special interest and has had post-graduate training in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, Occlusal Studies and Orthodontics. In addition to Restorative Dentistry, he practices Adult Cosmetic Tooth Movement, a technique for straightening adult teeth with Invisible Braces. Dr. Culbreath has developed original methods for straightening anterior teeth.

Dr. Culbreath has been published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and in textbooks on Restorative Dentistry. He has been a speaker on Restorative Dentistry for the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, for dental societies in North Carolina and Maryland, and for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
